Prepare for some pleasent surprises in Germany, from pretty fishing villages and vast sandy beaches to fairy-tale countryside and magnificent architecture. Important winter sports centres have been developed in the mountains but the imposing scenery attracts visitors all year round.

Climate: Germany has few climatic extremes, although there are regional differences. The best weather occurs from May to October. Moderate climate throughout the country with warm summers and cold winters, but prolonged periods of frost or snow are rare. Rain falls throughout the year. |
